REUPDATED: Water Main Break Shuts Down Service on Paradise
Crews shut off the water at three businesses by UNO Chicago Grill at 10 pm. Saturday. Water service was restored by Sunday morning for all the businesses to open at their regular times.
A major water line break took place on Paradise Road about 3 pm Saturday afternoon; service was restored by Sunday morning, saidGino Cresta.
Crews turned the water off to , , 5 Guys burgers and T-Mobile about 10 pm Saturday so they could replace the broken pipe, the director said. Service was restored by 5 am Sunday.

UNO had to close early on Saturday night but the restaurant opened at its regular time the next day.
On Saturday crews from Meninno Construction had an excavator on the scene to unearth the broken section of 12-inch main, the DPW director said. DPW crews were also working on the repairs.

This was the third water break in that area in the past five years, he said.
