Public Hearing Upcoming on Proposed Trash and Recycling Changes

The hearing is July 19 in selectmen's chambers at Town Hall.

The Swampscott Board of Health will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Selectmen’s Chambers at the Swampscott Town Hall to receive public comments on the draft for the town.

The regulation promulgates rules for solid waste removal and recycling by the town’s contractor and includes: conditions for collection, illegal dumping, recycling mandate, a waste reduction plan, etc. The draft regulation can be found on the Swampscott Health Department website.
