Prams and Kayaks Removed From Fisherman's Beach Rack
The deadline for owners to move them was Oct. 31.
Department of Public Works crews loaded the many remaining prams and kayaks from racks at Fisherman's Beach on Tuesday after owners failed to pick them up.
Department of Public Works Director Gino Cresta said the owners were required to take them from the racks by Oct. 31, per the Board of Selectmen.
In the past the removal deadline wasn't enforced and prams remained racked at the beach over winter, the director said.
But this year town officials wanted any remaining boats moved after the deadline.
Owners can call DPW, 781-596-8860, for info on how to claim their boats, the director said.
