Town Recreation Director Danielle Strauss chose Jaws for the summer series beacause Swampscott is a beach community, like the setting in the movie.

Many people bring pizza, picnic lunches, popcorn, chairs, blankets and insect repellent to the outdoor movies at Linscott.

This is the second of three movies thewill show this summer. The other one is The Lorax on August 16.
