Swampscott Hazardous Waste Day

Gather your unwanted households hazardous chemicals and dispose of them safely at the Swampscott/Marblehead Household Hazardous Waste Day. Accepting: oil paints, varnishes, stains, pool chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, automotive fluids, hobby supplies, household cleaners, mothballs, dry cell batteries, flammable liquids, propane tanks, photographic chemicals, mercury-added items, cosmetics, hair dyes, nail polish, household cleaners, bleach, etc. Not accepting: tires, explosives, medical waste, fire extinguishers, PCBs, electronics. Cost: $24 for 0-10 gallons or lbs., $44 for 10- 25 gallons or lbs. Stryofoam collected also.
