Buses to Replace Blue Line Trains for Early August Weekend

Blue lines trains into Boston will be replaced by buses for one weekend in early August.

If you are planning to head into Boston on the MBTA Blue Line during the first weekend in August, plan for some delays.

The MBTA announced on Wednesday that it will replace Blue Line trains with buses between Wonderland and Airport station all day Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 2-3.

The move is being made so that track and signal work can happen. The shuttle buses will all be accessible to the handicapped at all stops, according to the T.
