Youth Get Chippy on Fisherman's Beach Pier

The following is an excerpt from the logs.

Saturday, Aug. 4

  • At 4:07 a.m., a caller reported a possible breaking and entering at a club house at 451 Essex St. 
  • At 12:50 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident in front of on Paradise Road. No injury was reported. 
  • At 3:02 p.m., a caller reported a group of 20 people pushing others from the pier at . Police cleared youth from the pier.  
  • At 4:53 p.m., furniture was dumped on the street at Burrill and Columbia. DPW notified.

  • At 12:39 a.m., while police were checking the a male took off running. The individual had blond hair and was tall, wearing black shorts and a black tank top. The building was secure.
