Woman Locks Herself In Bathroom For Protection

Monday, May 13

  • At 9:29 a.m., police received a report of a suspicious male walking in the Forest Avenue area. 
  • At 4:13 p.m., police received a report of a civil matter involving a tenant and landlord at at a Roy Street residence.
  • At 6:20 p.m., a woman reportedly stole merchanside from Whole Foods Market and left in a gray Toyota.
  • At 6:38 p.m., police responded to a report of someone tearing up a house at Edgehill Road and the caller locking herself in the bathroom for protection.

  • At 11:03 a.m., police received a report of a suspicious male watching houses in the Atlantic Avenue and Humphrey Street area.
  • At 3:17 p.m., youth were reportedly throwing rocks below on to the medical office at 250 Paradise Road. The young people were located in a Plymouth Avenue backyard, one of them wearing a bright yellow shirt.
  • At 8:04 p.m., screaming was reported on Eastman Avenue.
  • At 8:16 p.m., a shoplifter was reported to be leaving Olympia at 450 Paradise Road.
  • At 10:02 p.m., a large group of people were reportedly screaming outside a Hillside Avenue residence. The dispute was over a mother trying to get her 20-year-old daughter to return home.

Wednesday, May 15

  • At 7:30 a.m., police received a report that a bat was injured at a Burke Srive address. The animal control officer was notified.
  • At 11:13 a.m., a possible breaking and entering was reported on Ingalls Terrace.
  • At 10:01 p.m., a highly intoxicated man was reported to be in front of Captain Pizza.
