Three OUI Arrests in Three Days

Swampscott police provided the following information. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 9

At 9:07 p.m., police arrested Mark McCormick, 39, of 19 Waldron Court, Marblehead. They arrested him at 441 Atlantic Ave., in Swampscott, charging him with operating under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a vehicle and speeding in violation special regulation.

At 3:41 p.m., police arrested Alice Warren, 55, of 1 Doherty Circle, Swampscott, on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. 

At 5:23 p.m., police arrested Dana Hartigan, 47, of 32 Everett St., Lynn, on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, marked lane violations, unlicensed operation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and three counts of possession of a Class E substance (Klonopin). The incident occurred on the Essex Street bridge, by Boulder Way.

Incidents

Tuesday, Jan. 10

At 9:53 a.m., police responded to a report of graffiti on a building on Essex Street.

At 9:57 a.m., a person came to the police station and dropped off a Motorola T-Mobile cell phone found on Essex Street. 

At 6:27 p.m., police received a 911 call reporting a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle on Humphrey Street. Two pedestrians received injuries that were not life threatening. They were transported to North Shore Medical Center in Salem.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

At 5:39 a.m., police checked the area around Salem Street for suspects in a Marblehead break-in.

At 1:09 p.m., a 911 caller reported a motor vehicle accident near Boulder Way. A police officer reported that three people were injured.  

At 4:37 p.m., a Ross Road caller reported a possible breaking and entering.

At 7:29 p.m., police received a report of vandalism on Bradlee Avenue. 

Thursday, Jan. 12

At 6:25 a.m., police responded to a report of an alarm activation at a Paradise Road business. The position of the rear door's safety bar allowed the door to move slightly. The activation was caused by wind.
