  •  4:14 p.m. — Christine Soden, 45, of 7 Goldberg Road, in Peabody, was charged with domestic assault and battery.

  • 7:34 a.m. — Police dispatched a fire call based on the smell of gas in the Greenwood Avenue area. 
  • 9:24 a.m. — A Hampshire Street resident reported that a Fed Ex package was taken for the home’s porch. 
  • 10:29 a.m. — A caller reported that a motor vehicle had struck a tree on Banks Road. One person was transported to the hospital.
  • 8:25 p.m. — A Pine Street caller reported receiving annoying phone calls. 
  • 9:20 p.m. — A Puritan Park caller reported being harassed. 

Tuesday, April 5

  • 2:44 a.m. — A police officer carried out a park and walk detail on Humphrey Street. The area was checked and found to be secure.
  • 10:27 a.m. — A police officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Paradise Road and Norfolk Avenue and gave the driver a written warning.
  • 11:12 a.m. — Police received a report of a fallen limb on Atlantic Avenue. The Department of Public Works was notified.
  • 12:49 a.m. — Police dispersed a large group of youth from the Essex Street Gulf Station parking lot. 
  • 1:46 pm. — A Morton Road caller reported a suspicious person who was going to door-to-door, and identifying himself as being from Saugus and saying he was collecting donations for Swampscott lacrosse.
  • 3:17 p.m. — A Pine Street caller reported a disturbance with a party over keys. The officer responded to the address and made an arrest.
