Swampscott Man Charged With Fatal Boston Crash

A sanitation truck driver from Swampscott is accused of hitting and killing a cyclist in Charlestown Thursday afternoon.


A Swampscott man is facing charges stemming from a fatal crash in Charlestown Thursday that claimed the life of an unidentified cyclist, the Boston Globe is reporting

According to the Globe report, Ricky Prezioso, 41, of Swampscott, is facing a charge of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in death.

Prezioso was reportedly driving a sanitation truck when he struck and killed a cyclist near the intersection of Cambridge and Spice streets Thursday afternoon.
