Swampscott Man Charged With Assault
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, Dec. 11
8:54 a.m., three cars were ticketed on Burrill Street.
9:12 a.m., two vehicles were ticketed on Columbia Street.
1:53 p.m., police received a report from Reid Terrace. The caller reported being harassed by his ex-wife.
4:01 p.m., a breaking and entering was reported on Currier Court.
5:54 p.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle accident — a vehicle into a house on Banks Road.
6:34 p.m., a Pine Street caller reported that her boyfriend was receiving threats.
8:59 p.m., a verbal disagreement was reported between two parties during a child exchange.
10:05 p.m., a caller on Norfolk Avenue reported the theft of holiday decorations.
Thursday, Dec. 12
11:31 a.m., a party was taken into custody on a warrant on Fuller Avenue.
8:05 p.m., an employee on Cherry Street reported receiving harassing phone calls from a customer.
Friday, Dec. 13
2:28 p.m., a caller reported a large hole opening up at Barnstable Street and Stetson Avenue. Possibly a water main break. DPW was called to the scene.
2:33 p.m., the school resource officer reported that a non-student was creating a disturbance at the high school.
Saturday, Dec. 14
3:14 a.m., police received a call from Loring Avenue from a woman who said she and her mother were locked in a bedroom and they wanted an occupant out of the residence.
Police charged Thomas Hill, 47, 1 Loring Ave., Swampscott with domestic assault and battery and witness intimidation.
