Swampscott Firefighters Battle Blaze on Foster Road
A home on Foster Road was badly damaged in a fire Thursday night.
Firefighters from several North Shore communities braved freezing conditions Thursday night while extinguishing a fire that broke out in a home on Foster Road.
At about 9:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a reported structure fire in a two-story single-family house at 98 Foster Road.
It appeared as though the house suffered significant structural damage.
A police officer on scene said there were no reported injuries.
