Swampscott Driver Charged WIth OUI After Danvers Crash
The driver was involved in a two-car crash on Route 114 on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Mark Smith, 41, of 5 Ingalls Terrace was arrested after a two-car accident in Danvers, police said.
The accident took place on Route 114 near the I-95 ramp. A vehicle was struck from the rear, police said.

No one was injured.
When officers spoke with Smith, he slurred his words. He subsequently failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Smith was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drinking from an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle.
