Skateboarder Struck on Paradise Road on Tuesday

A skateboarder injured when struck by a motor vehicle on Tuesday, July 16, at Ellis Road and Paradise Road appears to be OK, according to police.
The incident took place shortly before 2:30 p.m. The skateboarder's head apparently went through the windshield of the vehicle, according to a police report.
Police, fire and ambulance units responded to the scene.
The injured person was transported to the hospital.
Police had a vehicle towed from the scene to the police station and an officer completed a reconstruction of the accident scene.
