Revere Man Charged With Swampscott Bank Heist in June
Rolando Gala is also suspected of robberies in Lynnfield, Malden and Revere.
A Revere man is being held for allegedly robbing Eastern Bank at 405 Paradise Road on June 19, said Sgt. Det. Tim Cassidy.
Rolando Gala, 29, of 68 Dale St., Apt 2, Revere was identified from the video surveillance system by the FBI Boston Bank Robbery Task Force, police said. Gala is charged with entering the bank and demanding money from the bank teller.
Gala made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Cassidy said.

Gala is also suspected of robbing several other area banks including the Brookline Bank in Malden, Danvers Bank in Lynnfield, Citizens Bank in Revere, police said.
Swampscott Detective Francis Delano assisted the FBI and State Police in the investigation.

Gala is being held by authorities but no bail or court information is available at this time.
