Thursday, June 14

  • At 4:22 p.m., a person came to the police station and dropped of a cell phone found at . 
  • At 7:49 p.m., a man called from 1005 Paradise Road and reported that his wife had driven a vehicle into a pole and hit her head. Fire and ambulance were notified.

Friday, June 15

  • At 9:55 a.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at 990 Paradise Road. The drivers exchanged information. 
  • At 1:05 p.m. police received a report of shoplifting at 450 Paradise Road.
  • At 1:13 p.m., police and fire helped a caller on Grant Road who had accidently locked a child in a vehicle.

  • At 1:43 p.m., eported a shoplifter. Police responded and made an arrest. See below.  
  •  At 9:17 p.m., Police received a report of an intoxicated person at Stop & Shop. Police responded and found an intoxicated juvenile at the store and contacted her parents and brought her home.

Sunday, June 17

  • At 10:52 a.m. an Essex Street caller reported car parts were stolen from her motor vehicle. 
  • At 9:09 p.m., A Kensington Road caller reported their 16-year-old son was out of control.

Monday, June 18

  • At 9:21 a.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle being broken into on Elmwood Road. 
  • At 2:12 p.m., police received a report of another motor vehicle being broken into on Elmwood Road. 
  • At 2:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident with damage greater than $1,000 at the intersection of New Ocean Street and Burrill Street.
  • At 6:56 p.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle being broken into on Sheridan Road.
  • At 9:23 p.m., a caller reported that two men were fighting on Crescent Street and causing damage to her fence. An ambulance took a man with a nose bleed to Salem Hospital.

Tuesday, June 19

  • At 8:35 a.m. an Archer Street caller reported hearing two people crying and a possible fight behind her home in Lynn. Lynn police was notified and the officer reported there was no fight — a prayer service was in progress.
  • At 4:21 p.m., a caller reported a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Paradise Road.
  • At 7:23 p.m., an officer reported a dead beaver in the road at 331 Paradise Road.
  • At 10:07 p.m., an officer found a roaming dog on Winshaw Road and Rocky Ledge Road. The town animal control officer was notified.

Wednesday, June 20

  • At 6:20 p.m., a caller reported her car's tire popped after hitting a Humphrey Street pot hole. The car was towed from 174 Huphrey St.
  • At 8:37 p.m., an officer made a motor vehicle stop and arrested three people. See below.

Thursday, June 21

  • At 9:21 a.m., a caller reported outdoor furniture stolen from .

Friday, June 22

  • At 9:05 a.m., a caller reported a loose dog, a tan black-and-tan dog in the vicinity of Forest Ave. and Laurel Road.

 

The following people were arrested:

  • Rocky Benedetto, 40, 58 Pine St., Swampscott, was arrested June 15, and charged with violation of an abuse prevention order.  
  • Stefanie Santarpio, 36, 77 Essex St., Swampscott, was arrested June 16, and charged with shoplifting at Stop & Shop.
  • Lillian Lammy, 25, 70 Beach Ave., Swampscott, was arrested June 20, and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • Eric Kellum, 27, 36 Intrepid Circle, Marblehead, was arrested June 20, on a warrant for leaving the scene of property damage and marked lane violations.
  • Wiliam MacNeil, 28, 70 Beach Ave., Swampscott, was arrested June 20, on a warrant for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
