Police Log: Sick Skunk on Rose Street

Friday, Nov. 23

• At 7:11 a.m., a 43-year-old man was treated for seizures on Ingalls Terrace.
• At 7:29 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Humphrey and Monument Avenue. One person was taken to Salem Hospital for treatment.
• At 4:28 p.m., Animal Control responded to a report of a sick skunk on Rose Street.
• At 4:28 p.m., a Huron Street resident reported someone tried to use the person's credit card.
• At 8:41 p.m., police responded to Mustyn Street at the request of a resident's son. The son had called his 85-year-old mother and gotten only sounds of a TV running, then called back and got a busy signal. The resident turned out to be fine.
• At 10:21 p.m., a person in the 1000-block of Paradise Road reported someone had threatened her and her child.

Saturday, Nov. 24

• At 2:08 a.m., a caller reported wood smouldering in the parking lot of a closed gas station at Eastman Avenue and Essex Street.
• At 11:34 a.m., an employee who had passed out at a 400-block Paradise Road business refused medical treatment.
• At 1:28 p.m., a person having a seizure in the 200-block of Paradise Road was taken to Salem Hospital for treatment.
• Police responded at 6:37 p.m. to a report of a suspicious person at the corner of Puritan Lane and Puritan Road. The person was gone when police arrived.

Sunday, Nov. 25

• At 1:58 a.m., police helped an elderly Elwin Street woman who had fallen.
• At 8:28 a.m., police responded to an 88-year-old woman who had fallen at Vantage Terrace. She taken by ambulance to get medical help.
• At 4:54 p.m., police responded to the 400-block of Humphrey Street for a report of suspicious persons ringing doorbells. Police advised the persons that if they have a legitimate business, they should register with the town.
• At 8:56 p.m., police received a report of an 8-month-old in the 1000-block of Paradise Road who had swallowed a large piece of plastic.
