Police Respond to Three Breaking and Enterings

The following information was provided by the Swampscott Police. Where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 13

  • At 12:36 p.m. the requested assistance from  locating a student who showed up on the property and then left.
  • At 5:10 p.m. a caller reported a car on. 
  • At 9:57 p.m. a caller reported a fight on Cherry Street. 

Wednesday, Dec. 14

  • At 3:53 p.m. police responded to a car on its roof on Essex Street. The operator was transported to Salem Hospital.   
  • At 8:05 p.m. a rear slider alarm activated at Summit View Drive and police found a broken window and attempted breaking and entering.

Thursday, Dec. 15

  • At 1:36 p.m. police responded to a report of a break-in on Prospect Street.  
  • At 3:54 p.m. a code violation for dumped trash took place on Sargent Road. 

Friday, Dec. 16

  • At 6:32 p.m. a person came into the police station and reported that someone had struck his car and drove off while he was parked in the parking lot.
  • At 8:11 p.m. police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a Loring Avenue residence.

Sunday, Dec. 18

  • At 2:10 a.m. police responded to a report of in a Burrill Street apartment.  

Monday, Dec. 19

  • At 5:49 a.m. police responded to an alarm activation at a Paradise Road business. All was secure. 

The following people were arrested:

  • Javier Nieves 37, of 26 Story Ave., Lynn, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • Jamaal Andrade, 28, of 184 Burrill St., Apt. 2, was arrested on charges including resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace.
