Police Investigate Middle School Incident

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police logs. Where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Dec. 18

  • At 8:47 a.m., police received a report from a caller who said there was a large rabbit in the road at Banks Road and Banks Terrace. The rabbit appears to be someone's pet. 
  • At 11:54 a.m., a caller reported a motor vehicle was blocking her driveway on Columbia Street. 
  • At 11:57 p.m., a police officer was called to the Swampscott Middle School to assist a detective with an investigation. 
  • At 1:08 p.m., a breaking and entering was reported on Berkshire Street where a window was broken.
  • At 2:45 p.m., three stray dogs entered a Sheridan Street house.
  • At 3:38 p.m., police received a report of youth smoking marijuana in a park at Duncan Terrace and Superior Street.
