Owen McGroy, 30, of Chelsea, was reportedly killed near the intersection of Cambridge and Spice streets Thursday.

At his arraignment Friday, Ricky Prezioso, 41, of Swampscott, was ordered held on $5,000 bail after pleading not guilty to a charge of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in death.

Prezioso was reportedly driving a sanitation truck when he struck and killed McGroy near the intersection of Cambridge and Spice streets Thursday.
