Photo Update: Eastern Bank Robbed
The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash Sunday afternoon.
A man robbed Eastern Bank and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash Sunday afternoon about 2:25, Swampscott police Det. Tim Cassidy said.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned Hispanic man wearing a black hat, and a blue and white striped shirt, police said.
The man entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. He said he had a gun, police said.

Police from four towns, plus state police and the FBI responded to the bank, at 405 Paradise Road.
