Motorist's Window Possibly Shattered by Pellet Gun

The following is an excerpt from the log:

Friday, Sept. 9

  • At 12:17 p.m. police received a report of past incidents of youth going into the press box atto drink. 
  • At 2:02 p.m. a driver on Monument Avenue reported that her vehicle’s rear window shattered. A witness who was in the vehicle behind the victim’s reported hearing what sounded like a pellet gun being fired before the window shattered. 

Saturday, Sept. 10

  • At 4:49 p.m. police received a report from a Humphrey Street caller about a hit and run.
  • At 7:25 p.m. police received a report from a parent that a 16-year-old boy had left a home and was possibly intoxicated. Police located the 16-year-old and the mother picked him up at the police station.  

Sunday, Sept. 11

  • At 2:22 a.m. a Cherry Street caller reported that someone had smashed his window. A police officer reported that charges would be filed.
  • At 2:59 p.m. police received a report of a barking dog on Minerva Street. Peace was restored.  
  • At 5:45 p.m. a caller on Paradise Road could not find his car and believed it was stolen. Police confirmed it was stolen. 

Monday, Sept. 12

  • At 10:15 a.m. a Paradise Road caller reported a lost or stolen pocketbook.  
  • At 11:05 a.m. a 911 caller reported a woman yelling for help on Paradise Road. Police reported it was a person having trouble with a station’s gas pumps.
  • At 4:28 p.m. the school resource officer reported that media were on high school property and school officials wanted them removed. 

Tuesday, Sept. 13

  • At 11:39 p.m. a caller on Paradise Road reported that a person was being bothered by two dogs. Police reported that people were playing with the dogs. 

Wednesday, Sept. 14

  • Police reported an ongoing domestic situation on Burrill Street.

The following people were arrested:

  • Morgan Harold Bogart, 21, 47 Cherry St., was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.
