The youth was stopped after he ran a stop sign.

A traffic stop Tuesday ended with a Marblehead youth being charged with possessing eight ounces of marijuana.

Ryan Caliri, 17, of 54 Prospect St., Marblehead was stopped after Officer Mike Frayer saw the youth run a stop sign at Banks Road and Walker Road, according to Swampscott police Det. Tim Cassidy.
