Man Charged With OUI, Second Offense

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Aug. 30

  • 10:05 a.m., a Park Square resident will be calling government agencies on a neighbor due to harassment.
  • 10:20 a.m., a Salem Street caller reported a broken tree limb that looked like it was in danger of falling in the roadway.
  • 11:03 a.m., a car was reportedly keyed at Elm Place.
  • 2:39 p.m., police received a report of property stolen from a Salem Street house.
  • 5:26 p.m., police took a report of a wallet stolen on Paradise Road.
  • 8:29 p.m., police charged Victor Raskin, 60, of 6 Loring Hills Ave., Salem with OUI liquor, second offense and a marked lane violation. The vehicle was stopped at 394 Paradise Road and was towed from the location.
  • 9:54 p.m., a Beach Bluff Avenue resident reported something hit his door and then the bell rang. He checked out the disturbance but no one was there and there did not appear to be any damage.
Saturday, Aug. 31
  • 3:06 a.m., a bat was reported to be at a Pine Street home.
  • 7:25 a.m., a Humphrey Street caller reported that a dog has been barking for the last hour, and that the barking is a daily occurrence.
  • 12:53 p.m., police charged Jacob Parker, 25, of 21 Whiting St., Lynn with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a moped violation and a motorcycle violation.
