Friday, Feb. 11

  • 9:47 a.m. — William Capone, 34, of 19 Pleasant St., was arrested on a warrant for assault and battery.

Thursday, Feb. 10

  • 1:57 a.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle on Humphrey Street and gave the driver a verbal warning.
  • 3:17 a.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle on Elmwood Street and gave the driver a verbal warning.
  • 7:21 a.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle on Atlantic Avenue and gave the driver a ticket.
  • 3:25 p.m. — A person came into the station and reported finding a set of keys in a Paradise Road parking lot.
  • 8:04 p.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle on Alvin Street. The driver’s registration was revoked. Police took the plates and had the vehicle towed.  Police gave the driver a criminal complaint.
  • 10:55 p.m. — Police received a report of an erratic motorist on Paradise Road. Police were unable to locate the driver.

Friday, Feb. 11

  • 1:17 a.m. — Police conducted a park and walk detail on Cherry Court. The area was secure.
  • 7:07 a.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle on Oakledge Road. The officer issued a written warning.
  • 7:10 a.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle on Humphrey Street. The officer issued a written warning.
  • 8:33a.m. — Police received a report of a hit and run accident on Essex Street. The officer investigated and issued a citation.
  • 8:54 a.m. — A Deer Cove Road resident called to report an incident of identity theft.
  • 1:50 p.m. — A property manager at the Crown Pointe condominium complex called to report that residents were complaining about the smell of marijuana coming into the hallways from an apartment.
  • 6:56 p.m. — A woman came to the station to report  a civil matter.

Saturday, Feb. 12

  • 7:21 a.m. — A Norfolk Avenue caller reported a vehicle was missing from a driveway. Lynn police reported that the vehicle had been towed as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
  • 1:23 p.m. — A caller reported to police that a motorist might have been drinking a beer in a Paradise Road parking lot. The van left the lot and drove towards Salem. 
  •   2:08 p.m. — A Paradise Road caller reported a possible domestic incident — with yelling and baby crying — in an apartment. Police reported that there was no domestic incident, just horseplay.
  • 3:32 p.m. — A party brought legal papers to the police station that he found on Crescent Street.
  • 9:34 p.m. — Police received a report of a disturbance in the hallway at a Paradise Road location.
  • 10:08 p.m. — Swampscott Fire Department and ambulance were sent to a Paradise Road residence in response to a call from an elderly female who had fallen and was unable to get on her feet. The door to the residence had to be forced open and the patient was transported to the hospital.

Sunday, Feb. 13

  • 12:44 a.m. — A caller reported a disturbance on Nichols Street. An officer spoke with people at the scene and reported that there had been no altercation.
  • 7:45 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a hit and run accident in front of a residence on Norfolk Street. Police found pieces of the other vehicle at the accident scene.
  • 2:55 p.m. — An 87-year-old man fell in a Charles Road home. He received no injuries and refused treatment.
  • 5:19 p.m. — A police officer conducted a park and walk detail on Paradise Road. 
  • 6:48 p.m. — A Humphrey Street caller reported smoke in the basement at the residence. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
  • 9:21 p.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle on Paradise Road and ticketed the operator for a violation.

Monday, Feb. 14

  • 12:37 a.m. — Police received a noise complaint about snow removal.
  • 12:39 a.m. — Police received a report of a hit and run accident on Burpee Street. A light post was knocked down.
  • 6:41 a.m. — Police received a report of traffic control lights cycling through the walk cycle on Humphrey Street. Police conducted traffic control to clear the traffic congestion and reset the lights. DPW was notified.
  • 9:51 a.m. — Police notified  a resident that a defendant with a restraining order had been released from jail.
  • 1:16 p.m. — A caller reported an ongoing issue on Burrill Street.
