Thursday, May 12

  • 5:52 p.m. — Richard Gonzales, 37, 7 Chancery Ct., Lynn, was charged with shoplifting and possession of burglary tools.
  • 6:11 p.m. — Wayne Hathaway, 350 Chatham St., Lynn, was charged with shoplifting.

Wednesday, May 11

  • 12:05 a.m. — Police notified a resident that a defendant who is named in a restraining order was released from custody.
  • 7:10 a.m. — Police stopped a motor vehicle on Burrill Street and issued the driver a written warning. 
  • 9:29 a.m. — A person reported to a detail officer that a man was entering a Humphrey Street residence through a window.
  • 1:56 p.m. — Police served a restraining order, verbally, over the phone.  
  • 3:53 p.m. — Police received a report of a man wearing a skull mask on Paradise Road. Police sent the man in the mask on his way.
  • 5:50 p.m. — Police received a call from a resident on Buena Vista Street who reported that he had received a call from a party soliciting sex.
  • 10:35 p.m. — 911 caller reported that a woman was suffering from a heroin overdose in a Paradise Road parking lot. The woman was transported to Salem Hospital.

Thursday, May 12

  • 1 a.m. — Police received a report about illegal activity. The information was passed along to detectives.
  • 7:35 a.m. — An Essex Street caller reported a possible breaking and entering at a nurse’s office. 
  • 9:13 a.m. — Police received a report from a Grant Road resident that his debit card was used without authority.
  • 12:06 p.m. — Police received a report of a heavy set male dressed in black going through a backyard. The man was gone upon the officer’s arrival.
  • 5:11 p.m. — A Pine Street caller reports loud music. The officer reported that the music was turned down.
  • 6:30 p.m. — Mother of a male child who had taken out a harassment order against another child reported that the defendant has violated the order several times.
  • 10:37 p.m. — A caller reported two people arguing outside their vehicles at Monument Avenue and Elmwood Road.

Friday, May 13

  • 9:10 a.m. — A caller from Marblehead said her 14-year-old daughter had been approached by a man in a white van asking if she needed a ride.
  • 2:00 p.m. — Police received a report from the school resource officer who noticed that a person who did not have a car motor vehicle license was operating one.  
  • 2:51 p.m. — Police received 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle accident with injuries at Essex Street and The Greenway.
  • 7:45 p.m. — Police transported an adult from the hospital back home. 

Saturday, May 14

  • 12:07 a.m. — Police received a report of two males possibly breaking into motor vehicles. The males fled upon police’s arrival.
  • 12:10 a.m. — A caller reported a loud domestic situation with yelling and pounding on Cherry Street. The officer reported that it was a verbal argument. 
  • 1:15 p.m. — A caller reported an erratic operator was tailgating her vehicle. The officer located the tailgating vehicle and issued the driver a written warning.
  • 5:39 p.m. — A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Stonecleave Lane.
  • 8:42 p.m. — A caller reported an incident of larceny at a Paradise Road business.

Sunday, May 15

  • 12:32 a.m. — Police received a report of a red Volvo swerving on Paradise Road.  
  • 4:18 a.m. — A Littles Point Road caller reported a problem with a dishwasher and asked for help. Firefighters will respond. 
  • 10:47 a.m. — A person dropped off a found cell phone at the station.
  • 6:51 p.m. — A sudden death took place on Humphrey Street. A mother reported that she arrived home and found her daughter unresponsive on the floor. Firefighters and an ambulance responded. A police detective was notified.  No foul play is suspected in the death of the 26-year-old female, police said. Swampscott police detectives, state police detectives and the medical examiner's office are investigating, police said. No further information is available at this time, police said.

Monday, May 16

  • 9:02 a.m. — An elderly woman called and said she had been walking for an hour and was lost. Police responded. The woman was headed home and refused transportation.
  • 12:02 p.m. — Police responded to a minor accident on Paradise Road. 
  • 2:28 p.m. — Police served a summons to a Priscilla Road mother.
