Four Tires Stolen From Vehicle

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

  • 8:03 a.m., Stanley School reported problems with a man who was walking a dog on the school field. He was gone upon police's arrival.
  • 8:12 p.m., four motor vehicles were ticketed at the Railroad Station.
  • 11:31 a.m., a caller reported that a package was stolen from her Mountwood Road front porch some time in the last week.
  • 10:27 p.m., an Edgehill Road father called about his daughter who was drunk.
  • 11:27 p.m., fireworks reported in the Burpee Road area.
  • 11:29 p.m., a fireworks complaint was called in from the Franklin Road area.
Thursday, Oct. 31
  • 1:14 a.m., a Cherry Street caller reported that all four tires were taken from her car, which was up on a jack.
  • 3:13 a.m., Marblehead police were looking to pick up a Hemenway Road resident on domestic charges in Marblehead.
  • 10:16 a.m., police received a report from Foster Road and Windsor Avenue of a suspicious man looking in driveways.
  • 11:23 a.m., the school resource officer asked for an officer to escort her while she checked on the well being of a Morton Road student not attending school.
  • 12:21 p.m., a Citizens Bank employee reported finding a note on the counter warning of a robbery at 8 p.m.
  • 5:55 p.m., a Forest Avenue homeowner reported that her house was egged by teens and she confronted the youth in front of her house.
  • 7:03 p.m., a group of youth were reportedly throwing eggs at motor vehicles in traffic on Forest Avenue.
  • 7:20 p.m., kids were reportedly throwing eggs at Burke Drive and Forest Avenue.
  • 7:31 p.m., a motorist reported a motor vehicle was egged by a group of youths in the Burke Drive and Forest Avenue area.
  • 7:57 p.m., a daughter was reportedly unconscious at an Edgehill Road address.
  • 11:31 p.m., a resident on Diddio Drive reported hearing a loud bang and that a traffic light was on the front lawn. The state DPW was notified.
