Former School Counselor's Case Continued

Breaking-and-entering case continued until Jan. 26.

Former counselor is due back in Lynn District Court in January on a felony breaking-and-entering charge.

Last week, the 51-year-old's case was continued to Jan. 26.

Healey remains free so long as he stays away from the Humphrey Street address he is accused of breaking into and that he stays away from Swampscott High School.

On May 11, about 9:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a man climbing through a window at a Humphrey Street address, court records state.

Police questioned Healey at the scene.

The school adjustment counselor later told police that the house belonged to a coworker at Swampscott High School, and that he had entered in search of prescription drugs, according to court documents.

Healey resigned his position June 30, more than a month after he was placed on administrative leave following the felony charge.
