Tuesday, Aug. 7

  • At 6:54 p.m. a caller reported that a dump truck has been parked in front of 45 Cherry St. for a month and has not moved. 
  • At 7 p.m., police received a report of dogs on Eisman's Beach in violation of the town code. A verbal warning was issued. 
  • At 9:19 p.m., police responded to a report of dogs barking for several hours on Priscilla Road. The area was quiet upon police's arrival. 
  • At 11:35 p.m., a caller on New Ocean Street said tenants in the lower floor were causing a disturbance. Police tried to resolve the ongoing tenant dispute. 

Wednesday, Aug. 8

  • At 2:22 a.m., a father asked for police to check on his adult daughter who is house sitting at his Sutton Place home. The father was receiving cell phone calls from a third party who was using his daughter's phone. Police made contact with the daughter and found that she was OK.
