FBI Crime Report: Swampscott Property Crime and Thefts Rise in 2012

Here are Swampscott crime statistics from 2012, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The FBI's annual Uniform Crime Report includes information submitted by local law enforcement agencies. The information is compiled and released to the public in the fall of the year that follows the reported year. Violent crime, as defined by the report, includes murder and nonnegligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.
