Drunk Man Ringing a Doorbell
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Jan 6
7:01 a.m., a person did not answer a care call at an Essex Avenue address.
7:15 a.m., a water break was reported on Beach Avenue. DPW was notified.
7:23 a.m., a burning smell was reported at a Tupelo Road residence. The call was transferred to the Fire Department.
8:47 a.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at 252 Humphrey Street. No injuries were reported.
12:27 p.m., a credit card issue was reported at Gulf Express.
12:55 p.m., a husband reported that his wife was having trouble breathing at a Suffolk Avenue address.
3:31 p.m., police received a report of a front-door alarm activation at a Paradise Road unit. It was accidently tripped by the cleaning lady.
3:52 p.m., a Norfolk Avenue patient was transported to an Amesbury facility.
4:04 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported at Elmwood Road and Hardy Road.
9:27 p.m., a disturbance was reported at Stetson Avenue and Suffolk Avenue. The two people went their separate ways before police's arrival, the caller reported.
9:38 p.m., a dog problem was resolved at Essex Street and The Greenway.
Tuesday, Jan. 7
2:13 a.m., a Humphrey Road caller reported a man ringing several doorbells in the front entryway at a Humphrey Street residence. The caller stated that the man sounded to be severely intoxicated. He was gone upon police's arrival.
2:43 a.m., a loose dog was reported to be wandering in the Beverly Road area.
