Dog Attack and Break-ins

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police logs. Where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.


Tuesday, March 26

  • At 00:05 a.m., police received a report of yelling from the back of the Swampscott Cemetery by the Salem line. Swampscott and Salem police responded.
  • At 7:19 a.m., a Walker Road resident wanted to talk to an officer about ID theft.
  • At 7:44 a.m., a Littles Point Road resident came into the police station Tuesday to report that his motor vehicle was broken into overnight.
  • At 8:27 a.m., a resident reported two dogs had attacked his dog on Stetson Avenue resulting in injury. The resident can provide the location of the attacking dogs.
  • At 8:53 a.m., a Phillips Beach Avenue resident reported a theft from a motor vehicle.
  • At 10:56 a.m., an Alden Road resident reported a theft from his motor vehicle.
  • At 11:18 a.m., a Humphrey Street resident reported a theft from a motor vehicle.
  • At 1:44 p.m., a motorist reported that a vehicle was struck on Elmwood Road.
  • At 2:34 p.m., a vehicle was rear-ended on Atlantic Avenue on the town line with Marblehead.
  • At 3:29 p.m., a Rock Ave. resident reported a theft from a motor vehicle.
