Daytime Housebreaks on the Rise

Daytime housebreaks have been increasing over the past several weeks.

There have been two in Precinct 2, two in Precinct 5 and three in Precinct 6.

Residents are reminded to secure all doors and first floor windows when leaving their houses.

Residents are also encouraged to call the department if they see any suspicious activity.

The detective division is investigating several leads and these incidents may or may not be related.
