Construction Company Reports Breaking and Entering

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Dec. 6

9:21 a.m., a construction company arrived to New Ocean St. and found the place had been broken into.

9:49 a.m,, a Vantage Terrace dad reported that he was unable to calm his daughter down.

10:44 a.m., an elderly resident on Paradise Road reported that she might be the victim of a scam.

2:26 p.m., an investigation was reportedly underway on Cherry Street.

10:03 p.m., police received a report of an intoxicated man walking in the middle of the road at Pleasant and Prospect.

Saturday, Dec. 7

1:24 p.m., a well-being check was carried out on Redington Street.

3:43 p.m., a package was stolen off the porch on Thomas Road.

3:49 p.m., police received a report of an elderly patient assaulting another elderly patient on Humphrey Street.

Sunday, Dec. 8

2:04 p.m., police noted illegal dumping by the quarry, on Danvers Road.

6:36 p.m., a Barnstable Road resident reported a strong odor of natural gas at her home. She was instructed to not touch anything and to leave the house. It turned out there did not appear to be a problem.
