Another Downspout Theft Reported

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Jan. 23

8:20 a.m., police ticketed two vehicles parked on Railroad Avenue.

10:26 a.m., a person reported a car had been running in the Railroad Avenue depot parking lot for two days. Police checked on the well being of the car owner. There was no answer at the person's door, on Rockland Street.

11 a.m., copper downspouts were reportedly stolen from Puritan Road residence.

Friday, Jan. 24

9:55 a.m., police spoke to a suspicious person on Prospect Avenue. He was looking for cans.

12:01 p.m., a Paradise Road resident reported a pocketbook was stolen from the apartment.

12:53 p.m., a contractor on Burrill Street reported a problem with a customer.

1:11 p.m., State Police reported fingerprint hits collected from two breaking and enterings in October.

5:16 p.m., police gave a Middle School student who missed the bus a ride home to Nahant.
