Thank You Letter From Jean Whelan

The family of David Whelan would like to thank the hundreds of people from the Swampscott community and beyond that participated in the Seventh annual Polar Plunge. 

It was our first plunge and we were amazed by the number of people and the outpouring of support.  Despite the frigid temperatures, everyone appeared to be having a great time. 

Special thanks to the Polar Plunge Committee for nominating the Whelan family this year, the Swampscott Yacht Club and everyone else who helped make this such an extraordinary event. 

Hilary, Trevor and I are extremely grateful and truly humbled by your support and generosity.
