NSSC: Swim Lessons at Salem State University

NSSC: Swim Lessons at Salem State University

This is no April fools day joke, Seventy percent of African-American, sixty percent of Hispanic/Latino and 40% of Caucasian children have little to no swimming ability.

It is North Shore Swim Club mission to provided this life skill to area children in the form of their swim lesson program at Salem State University. North Shore Swim Club has been servicing the community for over 17 years.

The NSSC swim lesson program takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the SSU O’Keefe Center pool from 5-6:30pm. The class sizes are kept small with a 5:1 ratio so that every child is supervised and gets many chances to try the skills taught that day. All of the NSSC staff is certified through the American Red Cross, and USA Swimming to provided your child with the proper techniques, and skills to keep them water safe. North Shore Swim Clubs swim lesson program is designed for children ages 3.5-12yrs old.
