NSSC 8th at New England Swim Championships, Team Records Shattered

North Shore Swim Club recently attended the New England Swimming 13-19 Championship in Cambridge, MA. The short course championship meet was hosted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Zestier pool. NSSC swimmer Jordan Coan  (Marblehead), Nell Douglas (Wenham), Alexandra Kartsounis(Lynnfield) were 3 of 40 NSSC swimmers to compete at this meet, with 9 club records broken, and a handful more making their USA Sectional cuts. North Shore placed 8th against 55 other teams from all over New England.

 Coan and Douglas along with Kate Fosburgh (Winchester) and Felicia Lombardi (Malden) made for a formidable relay team placing 7th in the 200 freestyle relay, and 13th 400 Freestyle relay. All four girls have just turned 13 and have made a bond and will become a force to be dealt with in the years to come. Douglas, Coan, and Fosburgh all sniffed making USA Sectional cut with Lombardi making it in the 50 Freestyle.

 North Shore Swim Club has a great age group, junior program, and swim lesson program that bridge all the levels from one to the next.

At NSSC, the highly qualified coaching staff will teach young children all four competitive strokes and the correct technique in starts and turns.
