North Shore Swim Club: Another Big Splash Weekend

North Shore Swim Club hosted a swim meet this past weekend at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Zesiger Center in Cambridge. Where over 300 swimmers form the New England region competed.

This was a very successful meet for the NSSC team, it was their middle meet in a three weekend stint. With 90 kids competeing from their team alone, and combining for at ninety-five percent best time ratio during this heavy work load part of the season, the team is shaping up to have a stellar long course season.

Notable swims from the weekend came from Gregory Vinitsker (9) of  Swampscott, and Ryan Leclare (9) of Salem. Both boys have been training buddies at North Shore Swim Clubs practice facility at Salem State University for the past year, and have pushed each other to next level. Both Ryan, and Greg went 4-4, & 5-5 for best times over the weekend. This is Greg’s first long course season, and Ryan’s second. Ryan is already a team record holder for the teams eight and under division.
