  • of Swampscott has enrolled at Clemson University. Witt is majoring in Health Science. Witt is among nearly 3,000 freshmen at Clemson for the fall semester.
  • The University of Massachusetts Boston recently named Madison Duquette of Swampscott to the Alpha Lambda Delta Academic Honor Society for Freshmen. Duquette was one of more than 120 students at UMass Boston to be named to the honor society.
  • Alexander N. Junda, of Swampscott, has been selected for membership in the St. Lawrence University chapter of Psi Chi, the national psychology honorary society. He is a member of the Class of 2012. To be eligible for membership, students must have an overall average of at least 3.3, a psychology average of at least 3.4 (based on a minimum of four psychology courses completed at St. Lawrence), and be in the top 35 percent of their class.
  •  Thomas Keenan, a Business Administration student from Swampscott, has been admitted to Bryant University as a member of the Class of 2015. Located in Rhode Island, the University has more than 3,650 full- and part-time undergraduate and graduate students.
