Six Things You Need To Know Today: April 27

Please remember the Hadley School 100th anniversary community celebration from 2 pm to 4:30 pm in the Hadley gym.

1) Newsbit of the Day: We saw Glenn Kessler waving to commuters at the end of the day on Humphrey Street Wednesday. He stood by two Kessler campaign signs and a hand-written sign that said thank you to voters.

Another candidate, Deborah Shelkan Remis, expressed her thanks to voters by submitting a thank you note to the Patch: "Thank you Swampscott Voters.
Deborah Shelkan Remis
