Feeling Patriotic? Don't Miss the Stirring (and Free!) Concert Thursday Night at SHS
People of all ages are welcome to attend a free evening of patriotic music, percussion, ragtime and anthems performed by the Swampscott High School Music Department and the Nautilus Brass Quintet.
Under the direction of Scott Winship, the Swampscott High School Concert Band and Percussion Ensemble have become a tour de force.
Let them stir your hearts with patriotic passion at a free concert tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. (sharp!) in the High School auditorium.
The Music Department will present "A Salute to America's Veterans" with selections including:

Following the Concert Band, the dazzling Percussion Ensemble will let it fly on a variety of instruments including xylophone and marimba.
And as a special treat, the Nautilus Brass Quintet will make a guest appearance with a program of music including two Dixieland Tunes and four Patriotic Songs:
* Columbia, Gem of the Ocean
* America
* America, the Beautiful
* the Star Spangled Banner
