Santa's Breakfast Puts Toys Under Trees

The event was sponsored by the Recreation Department on Saturday at the Senior Center.

 

The Recreation Department raised $900 on Saturday at its Breakfast with Santa event at the Senior Center.  

Proceeds benefited Toys for Local Children.

TLC is Swampscott’s own local charity, formed in 1984 by retired Swampscott High School teacher Allen Shapiro. He wanted to be sure every local child is remembered during the holiday season regardless of his or her background or belief.

High schools students volunteered at Saturday's breakfast.

Breakfast was donated by Dunkin' Donuts, Peaches andCream Bakery, Periwinkles Whole Foods, Panera, Starbucks, Shaw's, Stopand Shop and Market Basket.
