U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) Patrick J. Burke  was recently promoted to his present rank at a ceremony at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, where Burke is currently deployed in direct support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM as a Chief Enlisted Manager for a Logistics Readiness Squadron.

Chief Burke served 4 years a Radio Operator/Rifleman in the United States Marine Corps before transferring to the United States Air Force. He is the grandson of Cpl Joseph Burke of Lynn, MA  (WWII Veteran), son of Mr.&  Mrs. Joseph Burke of Chester, NH, son in law of Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Mazola of Lynn, MA and his wife Krista and four children (Daniel, Alanna, Aidan and Quinn) reside in Swampscott, MA.
