2) Newsbit of the Day:

It may seem minor but the addition of a shed at the high school to store Farmers' Market tables, tents and chair would be a major time saver.

Last summer volunteers spent about an hour and half, total, round trip, picking up those items from the Town Hall garage, delivering them to the market at the high school and, later, loading them up and returning them to the garage, said Recreation Director Danielle Strauss.

Storing those items in a prefab shed will save energy and time, both of which could be devoted tp the market itself, she said. Plus, the space will provide a place to store signs, to better direct people to the market.

The proposal, for an 8 feet by 10 feet shed, will come before the Zoning Board of Appeals Wednesday night at the Senior Center. The shed would be located across from the loading dock at the back of the school.

The plan is to erect the shed by June 1, if the plan is approved. The shed has received School Committee and School Business Office approval.
