2013 - Swampscott Little League News!

Litttle League Registration...Coming Soon.

Baseball news is a year-round endeavor.  The San Francisco Giants just won the World Series last week. The Red Sox just signed David Ortiz to a new contract; Swampscott Little League held its Annual Meeting and election Monday evening at Swampscott High School.  So yes, baseball never sleeps.

Planning is already underway for the 2013 Little League season.  Whether it’s baseball or softball, Swampscott Little League invites your child to play.  Registration for the 2013 Little League season will be opening soon for boys 5-12, and girls 5-15.  

The 2013 Officers are: Mike Pegnato, President; Jeff Rubin, Treasurer;  Bob Biletch, Play-Agent Baseball; Gary Lord, Player-Agent Softball; and, Glenn Paster, Information Officer.

Below is the current list of elected Swampscott Little League Board of Directors:

Bob Barbaro, Bob Biletch, David Bishop, Joe Caponigro, Jim Caswell, Brad Croft, Joe Ford, Stephanie Greenfield, Pete Inzana, Gary Lord, Brad McIntire, Karen Murphy, Dom Nicastro, Lou Olivieri, Glenn Paster, Mike Pegnato, Ken Perkins, Dave Ritchie, Jeff Rubin and Marc Stern.

There is always room for more parent/guardian involvement.  We especially welcome those with children playing at the younger levels (T-Ball, Clinic, etc.), to join us as volunteers.  We think you will find it a rewarding experience.

Lastly, thank you to Scott Sagan.  Scott was the President of SLL for the past
five years.  The Executive Board and Board of Directors want to publically thank Scott for his tireless work on behalf of the boys and girls of Swampscott.
