Solar 101 - Solarize Salem-Swampscott

Solar 101 Comes to Swampscott

Do you want in on the solar energy bandwagon, but don’t know how to get started? Learn from the experts whether your home or business is appropriate for solar power on January 28th at the Swampscott High School at 7PM.
Swampscott and Salem have recently been awarded the designation of being a Solarize Mass Community from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and Department of Energy Resources. We will work with a competitively selected solar installer and receive over 20% below market rate on solar electric systems/projects. If you have been interested in solar energy independence and want to reap the benefits of a group-purchasing price this spring, come learn more about this Solarize Mass program. You will learn the basics of how solar power can work for you to save on your electric bill, how options from leasing to owning can make solar power accessible to almost everyone, and how solar power might be an option for your home or business.

At a separate event, the two towns will "Meet the Installer" on Feb 11th at 6PM at Salem Five, 210 Essex Street Salem.
