Public Lecture Series: Marine Science Through the Eyes of an Artist

Presented by Karen Ristuben: Where aesthetics and data-based research co-exist, the communication of content may be enhanced.  Karen Ristuben will present works created at the intersection of art and marine science, including her recent works addressing marine plastic pollution and ocean acidification.  Ristuben's presentation will explore the fundamentals and some of the challenges of an interdisciplinary, collaborative art practice.
