St. Michael’s Episcopal Church continues its Tercentenary organ recital
series Sunday, January 19 at 5:00 p.m. with a performance by Barbara
Bruns.  An accomplished recitalist,
accompanist and conductor, Ms. Bruns is currently Minister of Music at the
Parish of Christ Church, Andover, Massachusetts.  She will perform on St. Michael’s Opus 69 twenty-two
stop instrument built by C.B. Fisk and Co. in 1974.



 



Among the pieces performed by Barbara Bruns at the January 19 concert
will be the
Sonata III in A Major by Mendelssohn;
Carson Cooman’s Sinfonia, Opus 945 and
Rondeau, Opus 947; La
Nativité du Seigneur by Messiaen and
Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr (All Glory be to God
on High) by Bach.   



 



The concert is open to the public with a suggested donation of $10 benefiting
the Recital Series Fund.  A light
reception follows the concert.
